Cybertruck for FD/EMS
If anyone is a Firefighter/EMT and has been searching for a solution, then I found one. rails from CybertruckCo.com and 55" light bar from LEDOutfitters.com and since it's a 12v light bar there's a 48v to 12v step down converter. If I could do this over I'd probably spend a little more for the heavy duty rails and mounts only because those are a tad easier to install. If someone does want to order this same thing you want to make sure to have these tools:
- socket wrench: https://amzn.to/3WEy72Z
- universal joint: https://amzn.to/3YG2yrW
- 48v to 12v step-down: https://amzn.to/3YCtjxF
- Allen key set. I have these and love them: https://amzn.to/3YMJ1GF / https://amzn.to/4dikbmp
- 55" light bar: https://ledoutfitters.com/led-light-bars/55-enforcer-lightbar/ which lines up great with the holes on the tent level kit, but the screw+bolt is too small so get yourself some slightly larger ones.
- CybertruckCo.com bars and tent level kit: Bar #1 and #2 - https://cybertruckco.com/product/cybertruckco-light-duty-stainless-steel-sheet-metal-crossbar-kit/
- CybertruckCo.com Rooftop Tent Mounting /Leveling kit - https://cybertruckco.com/product/cybertruckco-heavy-duty-billet-aluminum-cross-bars/
The other thing is you have to be comfortable with wiring or have a friend who is. There are 3 wires at the roof mount. +/- and a 3rd wire.
When it comes to wiring and mounting the lightbar, the place I got the lightbar sells it with a universal mount. That mount has holes and they line up with the CybertruckCo.com tent leveling bar. I did buy bolts and washers and nuts for mounting it because I didn’t have anything perfect.

To attach the plugs I used the blue ones in https://amzn.to/3WQP2zm
I used a heat gun to attach those blue things to connect the plugs to the wires: https://amzn.to/3yOF0Xy I like this method better than crimping because the connection is more solid as it melts solder in to the wire ends.
Just would need a wire stripper like https://amzn.to/4cJOBwC to cut the insulation off the ends of the wires.
It’s not super hard but if you haven’t done any wiring before then if you have a friend who has or a friend who is a mechanic or hvac repair person likely they could be a help. Probably the hardest part was that the wire isn’t super long on the roof of the truck so pulling it out and trying to use the heat gun to melt the blue connector on was a little nerve wracking. Otherwise most everything else was simple.
For other things like an off road light bar for non-Fire/EMS there is a kit from TSportline that makes it easy and includes all the hardware you’d need but nobody seemed to have a volunteer Fire/EMS solution so I created figured one out.
